After the establishment of peace in 1990 in Mozambique, international funding agencies overwhelmingly supported the development efforts of the government of Mozambique as well as non government Organizations.
From the last 12 years Mozambique is receiving significant amount of aid in the form of grants and long term soft loans from the international funding agencies like United Nation Development Program, International Development Agency, Investment Found for Agriculture Development, Africa Development Bank, etc. to rebuild its infrastructure which were demolished during long civil war.
